Handball

Congratulations to our super handballers who did so well in the Cumann na mBunscoil competitons on Saturday in Kingscourt. In the U/11 doubles Jakup Szkup and Konrad Kowal won the All-Irleland. 

In U/13 singles Ryan Mooney won the All-Ireland. 

The huge crowd of spectators cheered on our boys and gave them great support. Well done to the boys and especially to their coach, Mr. McEntee.

Well Done Justin:

Well Done Justin Cawley for doing so well in the Monaghan County Final of the Eason's Spelling Bee Competition today!!

Chess Team

 Our school chess team competed against Glaslough School on Wednesday 28th March. They had already played Bellurgan and won 4-0.The boys once again won 4-0 and so have a good chance of going to Limerick for the National Final. Best of Luck to Dylan, Ryan, Killian and Conor. Not forgetting their coach Mr. McEntee. 

Cross- Country Running

Well done to our Cross Country Runners who won the County Championship last night in Beech Hill. It was a tough and draining course but the boys were more than a match for it. Patrick McCarron accepted the cup on behalf of the team to loud cheers from the parents, teachers and large group of supporters. 

McDonalds

The boys from our school choir had a nice treat on Wednesday when Monaghan Shopping Centre treated them each to a meal in McDonalds. This was their way of saying 'Thanks' to the boys for singing in the centre before Christmas. So not alone did our Choir raise money for the St. Vincent dePaul they also got a meal out.
