Michael Mahony, past pupil of St. Mary's is the top Leaving Certificate student in St. Macartan's College in 2012 with 585 points.
He also shared the honour of Student of The Year.
Michael is the son of Martin and Bríd Mahony, Tirkeenan, Monaghan.
