Author - Oisín McGann

The boys from two of our fifth classes were invited down to Monaghan Library to meet author Oisín McGann. He spoke about how he walks around with an notebook and writes down ideas that pop into his head so he won't forget them. He made up a very funny story, about a shoe that eats people, on the spot. It just goes to show that if we look there are funny ideas everywhere. While we were asking him questions he drew us a picture from one of his books. He was very funny and we are glad we got to meet such a famous and funny person. Thanks to Monaghan Library and to Oisín. .
