Our school won all four county finals in the Cumann na mBunscol Handball competition 2012. The results were as follows:
Under 11 Singles - Eoghan McGinnity recovered from being 8-7 down to win both games.
Under 11 Doubles - Jakub Szkup and Konrad Kowal were never in danger as this Polish pairing showed excellent handball skills.
Under 13 Singles: Pride of place goes to Ryan Mooney who played determined handball to beat his opponent by 11-10, 11-8.
Under 13 Doubles: Caileán Myles and Justas Dambinskas were expected to win their final and after a close first game, they turned on the style to win 2-0.
