There can't be many schools who can boast that they have Ulster Champions in their classes.
On Saturday the School's team took part in the Ulster Finals of Cumann na mBunscol Handball.
In the U11 singles competition Eoghan McGinnity was runner up. In the Doubles Konrad Kowal and Jakub Szkup won the U11 competition.
Ryan Mooney won the U13 Singles competition, Justas Dambinskas and Caileán Myles were runners up in U13 Doubles.
This is a great achievement and not alone did the boys play brilliantly but they supported each other and behaved so well while they were in Belfast. Other schools commented on the good manners our boys showed and that they were gracious in defeat and victory.
All six of our team reached the finals, and out of four finals we won two. Roll on April when Konrad & Jakub and Ryan will pit their skills against the other three provinces.
