Congratulations to our super handballers who did so well in the Cumann na mBunscoil competitons on Saturday in Kingscourt. In the U/11 doubles Jakup Szkup and Konrad Kowal won the All-Irleland.
In U/13 singles Ryan Mooney won the All-Ireland.

A big "WELL DONE" to our Parents' Association for organising a wonderful Cake Sale on Friday. The day was a huge success and the pupils and parents really enjoyed it. As always the raffle was a big highlight with many of the boys going home with their arms full of prizes won. The boys also did...

On Friday we said 'Farewell' to Master McMahon who retired as principal of St. Mary's. We had a terrific concert in the hall and every boy had a chance to sing a song especially for 'Master'. There was a lovely atmosphere in the hall and it was a lovely way to say goodbye. Hopefully we'll still...

Our school won all four county finals in the Cumann na mBunscol Handball competition 2012. The results were as follows:

On Tuesday 31st of January, the boys from 5th and 6th class took part in a Spelling Bee in the Gym. After nine rounds, Justin Cawley from Ms. Casey's 6th class emerged as the winner. Justin will now represent St. Mary's in the County Final.
